This blog is a gathering place to discuss complaintsboard.com. For any business or person who has been defamed by complaintsboard.com and wants to take legal action. I have read lawsuits that are now being perused and they are wasting their time going after fake whois info. Need to include the register and host who are just as liable once you make them aware of the situation. Any host should immediately suspend their hosting account (yahoo.com) and the domain register (Melbourne IT) should suspend the domain. I will show you below who to contact, please be relentless.

Long time ago I recall doing a whois and complaintsboard.com having some whois info from the EU. Would lead me to think the current info is fake.
Besides filling a lawsuit, if you are serious about justice is to contact their register which can shut them down in a heartbeat. Include them in any lawsuit as they would rather cut a domain they are making a few dollars a year on by being their register then be part of an expensive lawsuit. Complaintsboard.com is in clear violation of providing false whois info and defamation.

Important parts of the policy:
"Melbourne IT may elect to lock the domain name at any time and Registrant may unlock the domain name at any time subject to any relevant policies, procedures and processes"

MEANS THEY CAN DELETE THE DOMAIN NAME FOR GIVING FALSE WHOIS INFORMATION.
"15. Suspension, Cancellation, Transfer
Registrant acknowledges and agrees that registration of its domain name shall be subject to suspension, cancellation or transfer by any ICANN procedure, or by any registry administrator procedure approved by ICANN policy:
to correct mistakes by Registrar or the registry administrator in registering the domain name;
for the resolution of disputes concerning the domain name; or in case of arbitration or court proceedings being commenced with respect to the rights to the domain name. In addition to the above rights, Melbourne IT may suspend or cancel the registration of Registrant's domain name, or, suspend the delegation of Registrant's Domain Name, if as reasonably determined by Melbourne IT in its sole discretion, the Registrant or any other person uses the domain name in connection with any: activity that infringes the intellectual property rights or other rights of any third party; activity that defames or disparages any third party; or otherwise illegal or fraudulent activity, or otherwise in accordance with Melbourne IT's Acceptable Use Policy."
THIS MEANS IF YOU CONTACT MELBOURNE IT THEY HAVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL COMPLAINTSBOARD.COM IF THEY DO "activity that defames or disparages any third party" MAKING DAILY CALLS TO MELBOURNE IT, FAXES, AND EMAILS WITH THE THREAT OF A LAWSUIT WILL GET THEIR ATTENTION! AGAIN, THEY ARE IN THEIR RIGHTS TO SUSPEND THE DOMAIN, ALL IT TAKES IS YOUR DETERMINATION TO SEE TO IT THAT THEY DO BY INFORMING THEM THEY HAVE DEFAMED YOUR NAME OR BUSINESS AND YOU ARE PREPARING TO SUE.
MAKE SURE TO TELL MELBOURNE IT THAT BY THEM NOT TAKING ACTION THEY ARE IN VIOLATION OF THEIR POLICY AND ICANNS POLICY. YOU ARE PREPARED TO COMPLAIN TO ICANN AND DO WHATEVER IT TAKES TO STOP THE DEFAMING OF YOUR BUSINESS.
Next, myprivateregistration.com is owned by MELBOURNE IT, LTD. A service they offer to hide a customers true contact information, but must be provided when requested.
